Regional Sponsored Migration Scheme Visa (subclass 187): The Department of Immigration and Border protection (DIBP) has introduced the same to meet the skilled demand of the regional areas. Applicants must agree to live and work in a specific regional area indefinitely and become eligible to apply under one of the following streams: the Agreement stream, the Temporary Residence Transition stream, and the Direct Entry stream.

At the time of submitting the application, you can be either in Oz or abroad. But, if you are in the nation, you must hold a Bridging Visa A, B or C or Substantive Visa.

Under the category, if you do not have an employer to nominate you, you can submit an Expression of Interest (EOI), using SkillSelect.  State and territorial government as well as the prospective employers will view your profile and decide if to nominate you for skilled migration.

Employer Nomination Scheme (Subclass 186): The category has two major steps. First, the applicant must be nominated by an Australian employer (approved) and then file a petition under one of the following three streams: the Agreement stream, the Direct Entry stream, and the Temporary Residence Transition stream.

The chances of getting your visa application approved is high if you are below the age of 50 at the time of submitting the application, and meet other requirements such as age, language proficiency, skills, and experience.

Skilled Nominated Visa (Subclass 190): It is a point based skilled category. To apply, it is mandatory to acquire a state o territorial nomination. Further, you have to submit an EOI using SkillSelect. It is must to score at least 60 points. The selected applicants will be issued an Invitation to apply (ITA) and will get 60 days to respond on the same.
